Shaders
Experiments written straight against the GPU — frames that burn, type, grow, drift, bleed, and catch the light around whatever they are given. Everything glowing on this page is computed live: the dark behind this text and every window below share a single canvas, one fragment program per experiment.
Archive Ember
Paper grain, foxing, ink, char, embers, and smoke — one fragment shader burns an antique page inward from the corner, and the front never stops advancing.
Open experiment → EXPERIMENT 02Holographic Formula Drift
Procedural numerals and formula marks stream around a table’s rim, switching mid-flight and leaving blue phosphor afterimages. No texture atlas — every glyph is drawn from math.
Open experiment → EXPERIMENT 03Greenhouse Vines
Five leafed strands grow around a dialog — some reading as in front of the glass, some behind it — so the frame weaves itself together from a single shader.
Open experiment → EXPERIMENT 04Typewriter Letter Drift
The border that types itself around the Learn index — letters bob through sepia haze, near ones inked sharp, far ones fading, each re-struck with a double-strike ghost.
Open experiment → EXPERIMENT 05Blood Splat Submit
A plain HTML submit button takes a hit like a bug on a windshield — spatter squeezes out around it, coats the face, dries to a crust, and flakes away to dust before the button comes back to life.
Open experiment → EXPERIMENT 06Stillroom Shaft
A dark, still room cut by one late-sun ray from the upper left — volumetric air that absorbs as well as it glows, and dust motes that wander freely and only catch when they pass through the beam.
