Terra Incognita
The Empire’s atlas was once complete. Every coast, every river, every road — inked, certified, and archived in the Hall of Maps. Then the Fraying began: coastlines unremembered themselves, roads wandered off their bearings, and whole provinces slid quietly off the edge of the known world.
The Guild’s scholars learned a terrible truth. The map does not describe the world — the world obeys the map. What is drawn endures. What is left blank dissolves into the Unmapped, and the things that live there — Blots, Errata, the great pale Leviathans of the empty margins — pour through wherever the ink runs thin.
You are the last Cartographer of the First Chair. With compass, pen, and whatever instruments the Guild archive still yields, you must hold the final survey line: draw your defenses upon the vellum and keep the Unmapped from reaching the map’s heart — the Rose of Winds — for if it falls, every place ever named will be unnamed again.
“A map is not a picture of a place. A map is a promise made to a place.”
— Marginalia of the First Atlas

The Unmapped waits. It is patient. It has all the space in the world — literally.
