the wrong side of the world
The world is a tapestry. The Weaver finished the picture, set down her shuttle and slept — and the Loom kept going. No one has ever seen the front. Everything that lives, lives back here on the Knotside, among the knots, the loose ends and the colours carried between the figures. You are a Mender. You cannot see the picture. You can keep it from coming apart.
